Description
For sale is a Servi-Car electric start 3 speed transmission. Trans is super clean inside and has a nice set of gears. Shifts on the bench like it should. It is being sold as one unit with electric start parts you see, the clutch hub, tin inner piece and shift rod.
I got the trans as I was going to build a 45 and decided against building that. Looks as though the top may have gotten loose at one time by the looks of the braze repair on the lid and corners broken off where the tapered screws go. The trans lid still works and tightens as it should. Hardware looks original.
The trans was very dirty when I got it and didn’t expect much out of it. To my surprise it looks extremely good in there and turns and shifts smoothly on the bench. I didn’t take it apart any further than in the pictures you see.
This is a “one off, special stock” part meaning there is one and one only.
