Important Parts Ordering Info — Please Read
This is a small business and with pros and cons.
Cons : I don’t get any great shipping deals. I will do what I can to keep shipping costs down. If you are ordering multiple parts I can probably do better on shipping so add parts to shopping cart and email me before paying if shipping seems expensive.
PROS: because this is a small shop I take pride in selling parts and will do everything I can to make sure you get a good order with out hassles. Should you have questions you can contact me, not some AI or outsourced help desk, or some unhappy worked who lives in an office cube all day.
Why does Custom Vintage Cycle show up as closed on google and such?
Custom Vintage Cycle shows up as closed on places like google for two reasons.
Reason #1 is that I get way too many spam and other calls that are not business related or good business. There is no secretary, so when I am answering calls all day from people trying to sell me shit, or people who just call without checking to see what I even do as a business, it is a huge waste of time.
Reason #2 is google censorship and just plain old shitty business practices. google and other search engines are not a government entity and are not freely entitled to my information, to sell that information, and will not be telling me how to conduct my business. In recent years it’s also become common to find negative reviews of my business from people who I have never done business with, and have not had any contact with. Another thing also is that I will not ask my customers to leave reviews. I don’t play the social media game. I find all that stuff pretty much just fake. It’s just that simple. Either you stand up for yourself, your rights and your freedom, or you are a slave to them.
What are your business hours?
Generally I am open
11am to 5pm Monday through Friday
11am to 3pm Saturday
Is there a shop open to the public or showroom?
There is no shopping experience to be had here. I run the place like a warehouse because of it’s size and that it is somewhat of a mess. It’s an organized mess pretty much, but the place is small and I usually have a lot going on and it’s best to keep the public out. You are more than welcome to come pick up parts you have ordered online, and if you pretty much know I have something you need, you are welcome to stop by and see if I do. In the past when I have had a shop open to the public, there were way too many people who just want to stop by and waste time hanging out, completely disregarding the fact that I am trying to work and make a living. Add to that 95% of them never buy anything. This is a business and if a business doesn’t make money, then it goes out of business. Pretty much common sense.
What kind of parts do you sell?
I sell both new and used parts. I have worked on mostly Harley’s throughout the years, so that is what I have most of, and know best. A lot of custom parts, IE… head lights, tail lights, gas tanks etc… are universal or can be made to fit if you are good at fabrication.
What is the condition of the parts sold?
Used parts are inspected and cleaned and in some cases repaired. I do not sell junk. A used part is typically sold at half the price of a new part. New parts may or may not be in sealed boxes. I do not care about packaging, I will take things out of packages to inspect, possibly take pictures, and also to add other parts which are not included, but I know you will need. The parts pictured on CosmicMoto.net represent to the best of my ability to be the part you will receive. All of the “1 Off” parts are pictures of the actual part. New stuff that is constantly sold and replaced should be considered a representation of the new part you receive.
Warranty of parts
All used ‘1 Off” parts are sold as is with expectation meeting the description on the website.

New parts, $40.00 or less will be warrantied by CosmicMoto.net providing you haven’t broken the part or modified it in anyway.
New parts $40.00 and up are warrantied by the manufacturer.
Used electrical parts will be tested if possible and are sold “as is”.
New electrical parts are warrantied per manufacturer.
I would like to add that there are always exceptions to the rules.
I haven’t been in business for myself since 1991 by ripping people off. In the past I have gone out of my way when a customer brings me something new they screwed up, to fix or resolve the problem. Honesty goes a long way. Same goes for when I sell a new part and it perhaps doesn’t fit quite right. Shit happens.
The shit that happens that is bad customer practice.
You buy a new ignition because your bike has a miss and then you want to return the ignition because the miss didn’t go away, because the miss is actually mechanical. Perhaps you buy a new regulator and the bike still doesn’t charge, because the issue is the generator or stator, and you want to return the regulator. if you just buy parts to throw at the bike until you fix it, go to wally world or amazon or something and abuse them. I will not put up with it.
Return Shipping
Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility. In the rare case that for some reason something with the part is just straight out sideways, then I will reimburse you or send call tag.
