Description
For sale is a 1975 Harley-Davidson SX250 engine. My friend had this laying around his shop and asked me to sell it. It was the typical engine stored in a corner all dirty and was supposed to be good. So instead of just putting it up for sale, as is, in an unknown condition, I took the engine apart to check what was really there and replace gaskets and seals. Everything inside was actually in good shape, so I cleaned the engine and trans and checked all the specs.
The whole job is documented here. There is a new sprocket, new clutch. New SKF seals were installed and a full gasket kit. Engine has good compression and suction. Bearings are good and crank is true.
